innovative school construction

Supporting our Children

Prince George’s County Public Schools is voting on October 21, 2020 to approve an innovative new school construction proposal that will deliver six newly constructed middle schools in Suitland, Hyattsville, Capitol Heights, Adelphi, Ft. Washington and Landover by 2023.

As a part of this proposal, the school system is required to spend at least $135 million with minority business enterprise (MBE) companies to design and build these schools over the next four years.

Please email your School Board Member and tell them to vote Yes! Our children desperately need these new schools and our minority businesses deserve the right to build them!
